Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), 64-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Ledyard upgrades its record to 1-11 on the season. The Colonels travel to Windham (Willimantic, CT) to play the Whippets in a Eastern Connecticut I bout on Friday, February 3. The Whippets go into the bout with a record of 8-4.

Next up, the Vikings play the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. East Lyme will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
