The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) basketball felled the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), 63-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Raiders (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Flowers (Springdale, MD). The Jaguars go into the Prince George's County 4A test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Flowers thwarted Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD), 75-55, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Northwestern for a Prince George's County 4A test on Thursday, January 26. Laurel will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-25 league loss to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-11.
