With the win, Newell-Fonda upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Mustangs host South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA) to clash with the Titans in a Twin Lakes bout on Friday, January 27. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 10-5. South Central Calhoun won 79-55 in their recent non-league bout against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA)

Next up, the E'Hawks clash with the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Emmetsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 59-38 non-league win over St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA).
