Alabama High School Basketball - Glenwood trounces Evangel Christian Academy

The Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) basketball crushed the host Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL), 56-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Gators (19-7) will now prepare for their test against Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL). The Warriors go into the AISA AAA Region 1 test with a 23-1 record. In their last test, Lee-Scott Academy walloped Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL), 75-45, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Evangel Christian Academy will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-52 league win over Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-4.
