In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) basketball squad beat the host Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD), by a count of 75-60.
The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions go into the B Region 1 outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Langford defeated North Central (Eureka, SD), 61-49, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Leola/Frederick for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 26. Faulkton will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 64-28 league win over Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD). The Titans record now stands at 7-5.
