The Mount Everett Regional Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Gateway Regional Gators to 28 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host John J. Duggan Academy for a Tri-County - North contest on Friday, January 27. Mount Everett Regional will battle a team coming off a 75-46 non-league win over Pathfinder RVT (Palmer, MA). The record now stands at 10-1.

The Gators (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary (Westfield, MA). The Saints enter the Tri-County - South contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, St. Mary was routed by Westfield Technical Academy (Westfield, MA), 75-72, in a non-league contest.
