The Gloucester Fishermen basketball team (Gloucester, MA), was routed 71-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Salem Witches (Salem, MA)
The Witches now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marblehead for a Northeastern - Small battle on Friday, January 27. Salem will battle a Magicians team coming off a 74-67 league loss to Beverly (Beverly, MA). The Magicians record now stands at 7-4.
The Fishermen (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Big Blue come into the Northeastern - Small battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Swampscott trounced Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA), 46-43, in a non-league battle.
