Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 51-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Warde upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Darien (Darien, CT) to play the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County bout on Thursday, January 26. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Darien won 60-44 in their recent league bout against McMahon (Norwalk, CT)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 27. Greenwich will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 51-48 league loss to Wilton (Wilton, CT).
