Kearsley Hornets (Flint, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Madison Academy (Burton, MI), 65-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kearsley upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Linden (Linden, MI) to play the Eagles in a Flint Metro bout on Friday, January 27. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Linden lost 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Genesee Christian (Burton, MI)
