Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN) and the visiting Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN), saw Rushville's basketball squad hold off Knightstown by a tally of 53-50.
With the victory, Rushville improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to play the Knights in a Eastern Indiana challenge on Friday, January 27. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. South Dearborn lost 56-46 in their recent league challenge against East Central (St. Leon, IN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Knightstown will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
