Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) and the visiting Wethersfield Flying Geese (Kewanee, IL), saw Knoxville's basketball squad knock off Wethersfield by a count of 59-44.

With the victory, Knoxville upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Blue Bullets host ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL) to play the Cougars in a Lincoln Trail challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 16-6.

Next up, the Flying Geese play the Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Wethersfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Heat come into the challenge with a 2-21 record after their 58-40 non-league loss to Stark County (Toulon, IL).
