The La Crescent Lancers basketball team (La Crescent, MN), was nudged 66-63 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN)
The Lions now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schaeffer Academy for a A Section 1 battle on Thursday, January 26. Spring Grove will battle a Lions team coming off a 69-46 league win over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.
The Lancers (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Warriors come into the AA Section 1 battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Caledonia edged St. Charles (St. Charles, MN), 93-50, in a league battle.
