The Lynden Christian Lyncs basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Lakewood Cougars to 50 in the Lyncs league victory on Tuesday.

The Lyncs now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, January 26. Lynden Christian will play a Borderites squad coming off a 82-79 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 12-3.

Next up, the Cougars play the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Thursday, January 26. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 56-47 league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA).
