The Madison Mohawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Waynesville Spartans to 44 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mohawks now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookville for a Southwestern Buckeye - West contest on Friday, January 27. Madison will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-48 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-7.

The Spartans (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, OH). The Wildcats enter the Southwestern Buckeye - East contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Franklin was defeated by Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH), 79-66, in a league contest.
