Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), 49-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Neuqua Valley upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to play the Redhawks in a DuPage Valley bout on Friday, January 27. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 6-16. Naperville Central won 56-49 in their recent non-league bout against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)

Next up, the Blue Demons play the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a Central Suburban - North bout, on Friday, January 27. Maine East will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 68-55 non-league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).
