The Newark Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting McGraw Eagles to 46 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Newark Valley will battle a Spartans team coming off a 67-39 non-league loss to Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 0-8.
The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Stockbridge Valley (Munnsville, NY). The Indians come into the Section 3 Central Counties contest with a 3-2 record.
