The Northwest Indians basketball team (Canal Fulton, OH), was nudged 60-58 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH)

The Spartans now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norton for a Metro battle on Friday, January 27. Springfield will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Orrville (Orrville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.

The Indians (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Fairless (Navarre, OH). The Falcons come into the Principals battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Fairless was nudged by Manchester (Akron, OH), 61-51, in a league battle.
