The Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans to 22 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host SEED DC for a PCSAA A contest on Thursday, January 26. Washington Latin Public Charter School will meet a team coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC). The record now stands at 18-3.
The Spartans (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC). The enter the PCSAA A contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Washington Leadership Academy was routed by KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC), 83-22, in a league contest.
