Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wyalusing Valley Rams (Wyalusing, PA), 73-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Sayre upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Redskins travel to Williamson (Tioga, PA) to play the Warriors in a Northern Tier bout on Thursday, January 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Williamson lost 76-29 in their recent league bout against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) in a Northern Tier bout, on Thursday, January 26. Wyalusing Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 67-50 league win over Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA).
