Iowa High School Basketball - St. Edmond knocked off by Webster City

The Webster City Lynx basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting St. Edmond Gaels to 36 in the Lynx league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lynx now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS for a North Central contest on Friday, January 27. Webster City will meet a team coming off a 64-23 league loss to Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The record now stands at 2-12.
The Gaels (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, West Bend-Mallard was dropped by South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA), 79-55, in a non-league bout.
