In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Wahluke Warriors (Mattawa, WA) basketball squad edged the host Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA), by a count of 65-64.
The Warriors (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against College Place (College Place, WA). The Hawks go into the 1A South Central - East outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, College Place was tipped by La Salle (Union Gap, WA), 96-52, in a non-league outing.
The Wolves now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle for a 1A South Central - West outing on Friday, January 27. Wapato will clash with a Lightning squad coming off a 96-52 non-league win over College Place (College Place, WA). The Lightning record now stands at 10-6.
