The Winchester Red & Black basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Watertown Red Raiders to 39 in the Red & Black league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red & Black now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reading Memorial for a Middlesex contest on Friday, January 27. Winchester will meet a Rockets team coming off a 45-44 league loss to Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA). The Rockets record now stands at 6-4.
The Red Raiders (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA). The Warriors enter the Middlesex contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Wakefield Memorial nudged Reading Memorial (Reading, MA), 45-44, in a league contest.
