Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA), 33-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Regents upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lions host Appalachian Christian (Afton, VA) to play the Trailblazers in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Appalachian Christian won 38-19 in their recent league bout against Grace Christian (Staunton, VA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Appalachian Christian Trailblazers (Afton, VA) in a bout, on Thursday, January 26. Grace Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 37-32 league win over Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA).
