Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), 56-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Timnath (Timnath, CO) to play the Cubs in a bout on Saturday, January 28. The Cubs come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Timnath lost 26-15 in their recent league bout against Brush (Brush, CO)

Next up, the Broncos play the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Platte Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
