The Excel Christian Academy Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and held the host American Collegiate Academy Rough Riders to 4 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jordan Christian Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Excel Christian Academy will meet a Seahawks team coming off a 47-13 non-league win over Tenoroc (Lakeland, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 9-7.
The Rough Riders (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Countryside (Clearwater, FL). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Countryside was routed by Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL), 67-29, in a non-league contest.
