The Beaverton Beavers basketball team (Beaverton, MI), was overwhelmed 64-32 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI)
The Chargers now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ithaca for a Tri-Valley - West II battle on Friday, January 27. Valley Lutheran will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 73-42 non-league loss to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-2.
The Beavers (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Farwell (Farwell, MI). The Eagles come into the Jack Pine battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Farwell trounced Pine River Area (Leroy, MI), 43-27, in a non-league battle.
