Nebraska High School Basketball - Burwell trounces Palmer

The Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) basketball crushed the host Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE), 72-19 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Longhorns (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Rebels go into the C2 District 9 test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Arcadia/Loup City was trounced by Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE), 56-38, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Palmer will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 47-33 league loss to Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Chargers record now stands at 3-11.
