With the victory, West Orange upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host University (Newark, NJ) to play the Phoenix in a Super Essex - Liberty challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Chiefs play the West Caldwell Tech Eagles (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 62-24 non-league loss to Montclair (Montclair, NJ).
