Indiana High School Basketball - Seymour can't hold off Charlestown

The Charlestown Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Seymour Owls to 47 in the Pirates non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corydon Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Charlestown will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-40 non-league win over Crawford County (Marengo, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 21-2.
The Owls (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Bulldogs come into the Hoosier Hills contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, New Albany edged Evansville Central (Evansville, IN), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
