Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD), 46-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Quince Orchard upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Cougars host Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Whitman lost 56-20 in their recent league bout against Churchill (Potomac, MD)

Next up, the Titans play the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Einstein will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
