In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting El Paso Leadership Academy East Leaders (El Paso, TX), by a margin of 61-6.
The Coyotes (10-16) will now prepare for their outing against Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Yellow Jackets go into the 3A Region I District 4 outing with a 10-17 record. In their last outing, Kermit was trounced by Stanton (Stanton, TX), 45-18, in a league outing.
The Leaders now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Anthony for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3.
