The Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS) basketball knocked off the host Girard Trojans (Girard, KS), 49-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Independence (Independence, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Independence notched a victory over Riverton (Riverton, KS), 48-26, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's-Colgan for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee test on Friday, January 27. Girard will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-41 non-league win over Frontenac (Frontenac, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 11-0.
