The Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), 50-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Union Catholic got by Summit (Summit, NJ), 39-34, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kent Place for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26.
