The Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Wright Red Devils to 33 in the Lakes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lakes now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watersmeet for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Lake Linden-Hubbell will meet a Nimrods team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Chassell (Chassell, MI). The Nimrods record now stands at 6-6.

The Red Devils (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Vikings enter the Copper Mountain contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Baraga ran past Wakefield (Wakefield, MI), 64-51, in a league contest.
