With the victory, Mercy upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Monarchs host South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. South Sioux City lost 52-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Duchesne (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Tigers play the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 46-17 non-league loss to David City (David City, NE).
