The Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) basketball nipped the host Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA), 42-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Storm (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Lakewood was tipped by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 77-33, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Meridian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Friday, January 27. Oak Harbor will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 49-38 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-6.
