South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), 80-49 in a league bout.

With the win, South Central Calhoun upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Titans travel to Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA) to play the Mustangs in a Twin Lakes bout on Friday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Newell-Fonda won 67-26 in their recent non-league bout against Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. West Bend-Mallard will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Gaels go into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 54-31 non-league loss to Webster City (Webster City, IA).
