The Mustangs now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Otis-Bison for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. Sylvan-Lucas will confront a Cougars team coming off a 61-49 non-league loss to Dighton (Dighton, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 2-10.

The Warriors (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Thunder Ridge (Kensington, KS). The Longhorns come into the Northern Plains battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Thunder Ridge trounced Pike Valley (Scandia, KS), 44-30, in a non-league battle.
