The Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) ice hockey the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY), 6-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Huskies now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tupper Lake for a battle on Tuesday, February 7.
The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Chiefs come into the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Saranac held off Pulaski (Pulaski, NY), 7-4, in a non-league test.
