Frederick Christian Academy Defenders (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Heritage Academy Eagles (Hagerstown, MD), 44-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Frederick Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Defenders travel to Calvary Baptist Church Academy (Glen Burnie, MD) to play the Knights in a bout on Monday, January 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Eagles play the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) in a bout, on Thursday, February 16. Heritage Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
