Ohio High School Basketball - Benedictine over John Hay

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Benedictine Bengals (Cleveland, OH) and the host John Hay (Cleveland, OH), saw Benedictine's basketball squad overcome John Hay by a tally of 54-42.

With the victory, Benedictine improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Trinity won 70-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH)

Next up, the play the Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. John Hay will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Brush (Lyndhurst, OH).
