Indiana High School Basketball - Illiana Christian can't hold off Bowman Academy

The Illiana Christian Vikings basketball team (Dyer, IN), was nudged 48-44 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN)

The Eagles now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culver Academies for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Bowman Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Peru (Peru, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.

The Vikings (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Victory Christian Academy edged La Lumiere Blue (La Porte, IN), 82-78, in a league battle.
