Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces (Chicago, IL), 72-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Chicago Hope Academy upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The travel to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL) to play the Eagles in a Chicagoland Christian bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 15-4. Aurora Christian lost 54-50 in their recent league bout against Christ the King (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Aces play the Ellison Lions (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep bout, on Thursday, January 25. Ida Crown Jewish Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 57-49 non-league loss to Hammond Academy of Science & Tech (Hammond, IN).
