The Westland Cougars basketball team (Galloway, OH), was nudged 66-64 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Hamilton Township Rangers (Columbus, OH)
The Rangers now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Union for a Mid-State - Buckeye battle on Friday, January 26. Hamilton Township will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to New Hope Christian Academy (Circleville, OH). The Lions record now stands at 6-9.
The Cougars (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH). The Panthers come into the Ohio Capital - Ohio battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Pickerington North edged Westerville Central (Westerville, OH), 60-49, in a league battle.
