The Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) basketball knocked off the host Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), 47-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Vikings go into the Howard County test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Mt. Hebron notched a victory over Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 64-52, in a league test.
The Scorpions now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Wilde Lake for a Howard County test on Friday, January 26. Oakland Mills will encounter a Wildecats squad coming off a 60-53 league loss to Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 6-9.
