The Marmion Cadets basketball team (Aurora, IL), dropped 47-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL)
The Pirates now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochelle for a Interstate Eight battle on Saturday, January 27. Ottawa will battle a Hubs team coming off a 80-54 non-league win over Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 9-15.
The Cadets (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans come into the Chicago Catholic - White outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, St. Francis was topped by Brother Rice (Chicago, IL), 59-52, in a non-league outing.
