Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD), 60-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Marriotts Ridge upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The host Centennial (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Eagles in a Howard County bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Centennial lost 64-52 in their recent league bout against Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD)

Next up, the Wildecats play the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Friday, January 26. Wilde Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Scorpions go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 47-35 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
