The McDonough Rams tipped the visiting Westlake Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 61-57 in Wednesday's league game.
In their next game, the Rams face the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Friday, January 26. McDonough will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 68-60 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
The Wolverines (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Chopticon was nudged by St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 70-67, in a league battle.
