The Tuscarora Huskies basketball team (Leesburg, VA), was nudged 59-54 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA)
The Wolverines now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Champe for a Catoctin battle on Friday, January 26. Woodgrove will battle a Knights team coming off a 66-51 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Knights record now stands at 9-7.
The Huskies (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Spartans come into the Catoctin battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Broad Run edged Heritage (Leesburg, VA), 62-50, in a non-league battle.
