Coal Ridge Titans (New Castle, CO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Coal Ridge upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO) to play the Sailors in a bout on Saturday, January 27. The Sailors come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bruins play the Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Cedaredge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
